Our New Home

I've had a few requests to post some pictures of our new house, so here they are. After renting for almost 7 years, we are so excited to finally own our first home. It is double the size of anything we have lived in before, and we love all of the things that come with a house that we've never had before (i.e. our own yard, unfinished basement for storage and kids play area, and a 3-car garage). We are pretty much settled (only 1 box left to unpack...I think) but have done almost zero decorating. We finally just hung a few things on the walls last weekend, but have a long way to go. I've decided that I'm not very good at decorating, so if anyone is interested in volunteering to help me, I'm taking names!

We have plans to make this room a home office, but for now it is mostly empty.

Wow. That kitchen is amazing. And that is a whole lot of house to decorate. Good luck with that.

How beautiful! Looks great. I know what you mean about decorating, that's why I always get my mom to help me.

Your new house is GORGEOUS! I'm so happy for you guys. I don't believe you about decorating...it already looks great even being newly moved-in!

Your home is so beautiful! I admit that I clicked on the picture of your kitchen and just sat and stared at it while I ate some lunch and I was imagining what it might be like to maybe have a kitchen like that someday. Look how open it is! I am so happy for you! Please post more pics when you get a chance...better yet, post a video of the grand tour for those of us who might never get a chance to see it in person. :) I hope John is enjoying his job! Love ya!
